I came across this YouTube video today, and its quite scary. I will admit though that I haven’t taken the time to confirm its quotes, claims and references. But its chocking if true. The focus is primarily on the American user-base, and how statistics from your preferred music, movies, books, politics etc. Can be used to, among other things, generate revenue among different markets. All stated in the terms of service.

The developers say that they have been working hard to give the ultimate netbook experience. In the release candidate 1.6, there was a new boot-up system and new graphics, so called “artwork”. The HAL system is no longer used which is said to improve boot-up time and wake-up time. the developers say that the improvements give the system a 25% faster boot-up. The new interface contains integration with the social networks Twitter, Identi.ca and Facebook. There’s improved support for Nvidia‘s proprietary drivers and includes a new open-source driver.

Yeah i know, facebook flash games are probably not the best in the world, but it’s a very fun way to pass the time when you have nothing to do, at work or at school.
I think the game is about you on a forgotten island trying to survive by planting fruits and vegetables, if you want to you can invite your friends over facebook and get different gifts and animals. And sometimes, you will find a lost animal or something in which you can post on your wall and they can put those animals on their own island, is they are an active member.
